Over a thoughtfully prepared harvest table dinner, you'll learn practical dining etiquette, entertaining tips, and simple ways to create memorable experiences through food, conversation, and hospitality.

One of the things I love most about travel is discovering a place through its food.

Join me in the South of France aboard an elegant Emerald River Cruise as we sail through Provence and the Rhône Valley, visiting charming villages, renowned wine regions, and Lyon - the gastronomic heart of France. Along the way we'll enjoy exceptional cuisine, local wines, beautiful markets, and unforgettable experiences, including a special Provençal dinner created by celebrated chef Fabien Morreale.

Guests will also have the opportunity to extend their adventure with time in beautiful Nice and, if desired, Paris, making this a truly memorable French escape.

Travel with Dana Shortt, Christine Flynn and Nataschia Wielink and experience the soul of Burgundy, where storied vineyards, medieval villages, and world-class cuisine meet the easy rhythm of river life. We'll be travelling together with AmaWaterways on the exquisite AmaCello, a luxury ship with the warmth of small group travel. From Dijon’s timeless charm to Lyon’s culinary brilliance, this voyage invites you to savour the essence of France.

We’ll be enjoying the many wonderful excursions that AmaWaterways’ Flavors of Burgundy cruise has to offer, and also creating special, memorable events just for our group. Stroll through a lively French market with Dana as she shares her favourite finds, local specialties and inspiration for effortless entertaining at home. Rise early for a photowalk with expert photographer Nataschia and capture the quiet beauty of Burgundy’s picturesque villages. Then, gather with Chef Christine during cocktail hour for a relaxed tasting and introduction to some of her favourite Burgundy wines. Space is limited.
